Online Form: Notification of Change of Name / Postal Address

Inverell Shire Council now provides its residents the opportunity to complete and submit the request form to change a name or postal address online.

In addition to the online form, other avenues you can use to update your name or address are:

  • Visit Council's Administration Centre in person at 144 Otho Street, Inverell, or
  • Email council@inverell.nsw.gov.au to request a form and one will be sent back for you to complete.

Please note, change of name will require supporting documentation.

Inverell Shire Council respects your privacy at all times. When processing your application we collect personal information about you for the primary purpose of providing you with a high level of customer service and the information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected

** IMPORTANT **  This form is to be used on a per person basis. Multiple forms need to be completed if details are changing for mulitple property owners.

Please attach supporting documentation relating to a name change.

Should you require to attach more than two (2) documents, please email Council on council@inverell.nsw.gov.au and reference your name and this form.

Please note files totaling over 5MB will not be accepted.

Other Information

By default Council will update all address records including: Rates and Water assessments, Debtor accounts, Applications and Licensing.

Please specify individual accounts that you require to continue to use the 'Existing Details'
