Roadworks Affecting Traffic

Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise that, weather permitting, upgrade works will be undertaken on the Central Plaza car park and in the adjacent area of Oliver Street, over a seven week period commencing on Monday 21 August 2017.
The undercover section of Central Plaza car park will be closed for one week starting Monday 21 August and there will be restrictions to the available spaces in the main car parking area for a 6 week period starting Monday the 28 August 2017.
Council has made provision for alternate parking on the vacant block of land on the corner of Lawrence and Oliver streets in order to limit the impact of any disruptions.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by these works and members of the public are requested to exercise care and consideration when travelling adjacent to the worksite.

Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise that, weather permitting, roadwork will be undertaken on the Inverell-Bonshaw Road approximately 16km north of Ashford from Wednesday 5 July 2017 and continue for 8 weeks until Wednesday 30 August 2017.
The works will be under traffic control and short delays can be expected. Members of the public are requested to exercise care and consideration when travelling through the area.

Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise that, weather permitting, works on the Bridge approaches of the Neil McCosker - Tin Tot Bridge over the Macintyre River near Graman, from 22 August 2017 until 15 September 2017. During this time there will be temporary changes to traffic conditions and a detour will be in place.
The bridge will be closed to all traffic until the 15 September 2017. A side track will remain open to traffic up to the 10 tonne load limit. Vehicles over this limit will need to detour via the Ashford Road to access the Northern side of the Macintyre River.
Members of the public are requested to exercise care and consideration when travelling through the worksite.
