FACILITIES
 
Seating and Tables - No Charge
Tables and chairs are available for set up to own needs, subject to regulations.

Hall Heating- No Charge
Gas heaters installed high on walls in main hall, annex and kitchen.

Kitchen - No Charge
"Bain Marie", gas cookers, refrigerators, urns, hot water over sinks. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are NOT provided.

Bar - Fees Apply
Facilities include temprite and coolroom. Organisation of supplies including staff, beer, gas and glasses etc is the responsibility of the hirer.

Grand Piano - Fees Apply
Piano is available for some functions. Request in writing is required in advance. Special conditions apply, these conditions are available upon request at Council's Administration Office.

Stage Lighting System - Fees Apply
Special stage lighting system available only upon request.

Rehersals - Fees Apply
Special arrangements can be made for preparations or rehearsals prior to a function, or for removal of equipment after a function.

Please advise Council's Administration Office of your requirements in advance.


HIRING THE INVERELL TOWN HALL

A TOWN HALL HIRE AGREEMENT FORM is to be completed and signed.

 
FEES

All deposits are only fully refunded if the premises are left in a clean condition after hiring and the keys returned. It should be noted, however, that this is a deposit only and any cleaning costs in excess of the deposit will be payable by the hirer.

Any tentative booking for which a deposit has not been paid, may without notice, be superseded by a booking for which a deposit is offered.  The balance of any outstanding hire fees is to be paid prior to the function.

Keys are to be collected from and returned to Council's Administration Office during office hours 8.30am - 4.30pm.


CONDITIONS OF HIRING

All Conditions of Hiring and Notes for Users are to be read and understood. Council's rules and instructions given by Council's Staff, regarding Council's requirements MUST be adhered to.
 
Fire Safety
It is the responsibility of the hirer to make themselves aware of the location of fire extinguishers and fire hose reels. At NO time are ANY exits to be obstructed in any way.

Decorating
Care is to be taken to avoid damage. No adhesive tape is permitted to be used on any paintwork.

Drinks
If alcohol is to be available at public functions, application is to be made at the Court House for a Limited Functions Liquor Licence. NO bottles or cans are allowed in the upstairs gallery AT ANY TIME. Everything brought into the hall is to be removed during the hours set down for hiring, except where prior arrangements have been made with Council staff.
  
Cleaning
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the hall is cleaned and furniture returned to the position in which they were stored at the commencement of hire. Council staff will inspect the hall after the function. In most cases, sweeping of the floor will be adequate. However, if the floor has been badly soiled, it may be necessary for it to be mopped.
 
Insurances
Council's insurance covers casual hirers for public liability. Regular hirers may have to obtain their own cover. If in doubt, check with Council staff.
 
 
Fees are fixed annually by Council.
A Security Deposit applies to ALL functions and is to be lodged at the time of booking, unless a prior arrangement has been made. The deposit is refundable following inspection by Council staff, and is subject to deduction for cost of any damage which may occur to the hall or equipment as a result of use of the hall. A deduction may also be made if the hall is not left in the same condition as it was at the commencement of hiring.
